These are Sofia’s favorite subjects to photograph because to capture these little bundle’s of joy inspires her and is the one thing she loves to do. Their eye lashes, their little fingers and toes, the curly hair, the new and changing skin, and their little tushies are the cutest. Her photographs highlight the features that make your baby unique. Sofia uses both her photographic talent and ability to gently handle her newborn subjects to create beautiful portraits that will be cherished for generations to come.

THE PERFECT AGE

Sofia prefers to photograph her little ones under 15 days old with days 8-10 as the best days to do the shoot. Older newborns tend to sleep less and do not curl up as easily. Newborn acne and cholic may flare up at around 2 weeks of age, as well.

YOUR SESSION

Each individual newborn is unique and they do behave differently, Sofia adjusts and plans her session around the baby and works with them as she sees it. It’s not uncommon for the session to last three hours, allowing for plenty of time for feedings and comforting.

Sofia is highly capable and experienced in handling newborns and has trained with the best in the world. She has done over 100 newborn sessions to date and safety is always her top priority. She is the only Professional Newborn Photographer in the Country that has the depth and breadth of expertise and experience in handling and photographing newborns.
