Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.

What to Expect?
For booking sessions, I encourage you to plan your day and to schedule at the child’s ‘best time’ of day. This may require adjustment of schedules on the parent’s part. It is important for us not to rush a session.
The most important thing is for everyone to be relaxed and have fun with each other. The best shots come from the most unexpected moments and need to be caught in the blink of an eye.
I try to foster an atmosphere of family and friendship and FUN! I like to get to know the child before we start and may play some games with them to get them more comfortable with me and the cameras.
How long will it last?
Your session will last for about 1 hour (it can go as fast as 20 minutes if luck is on our side), depending on the mood/temperament of your child . We all want to get the best shots possible during our time together but I also acknowledge that children are often unpredictable. If the shoot time is not maximized due to a child who isn’t “in the mood” then the photographer and parents may agree to re-schedule the shoot free of charge, so don’t worry.
What to Wear?
Once you have booked your session, I will be sending you an information pack that has recommendations. I do have some tutus and headpieces and hats and props but NO costumes.
I encourage moms-to-be to book their sessions ahead of time (31-35 weeks is the ideal period for a maternity shoot). Bellies are at their best shape and size at this time. I will send you an FAQ sheet once you have confirmed your session date and time.
What are the best ages for me to have my child photographed?
Babies photograph best at newborn (8-15 days old), 3 months (when they can hold their head up), 6 months (when they can sit on their own), 9 months (when they start crawling) and 12 months for their 1st birthday.
then again at 2 years. I also photograph older children of any age and large family (generations photos).
Newborns are best photographed before they are 15 days old , so let me know in advance before the baby is born so we can plan and schedule a session. I am very competent in handling newborns and babies having trained under the best in the world and having had more than 100 newborn clients, you need not worry. The newborn sessions are very professional, hygienic, relaxing and tender. I also do home service sessions.
